Benny Simanjuntak, also known as Benny 'Contoh', is the founder of Contoh Management, an artist management company established in 1996. The company is considered a pioneer in the artist management industry in Indonesia. Through Contoh Management, Benny managed to launch a number of famous artists such as Indra Bruggman, Sherly Margaretha, ZeckLee Dhini Aminarti, Lian firman, Hengky Kurniawan, Jonathan Frizzy, and dozens of well-known Indonesian artists.

Before establishing Contoh Management, Benny started his career in 1986 as a model and dancer under the guidance of Sjamsidar Isa (Studio one) His experience in the entertainment world helped him build a wide network of artists and models, which later became valuable capital in establishing his own artist management, CONTOH Management Artis.

In 2005, Benny published a book titled “Tips to Become an Artist”, which contains guidelines and tips for those who want to make a career in the entertainment industry.

Around 2014, Benny expanded his career reach by moving to the United States and opening an artist management and owning several businesses in Los Angeles. There, he also produced young Indonesian artists who wanted to pursue an international career. There are several single albums and music produced there, one of which is the release of KrisDayanti's international single album.

Through his dedication and innovation, Benny Simanjuntak has made significant contributions to the Indonesian entertainment industry and paved the way for many young talents to achieve success, both at home and abroad.
